May Golan was born in the old Kirya hospital in central Tel-Aviv and raised in the heart of South Tel Aviv. From a young age, May Golan has worked in journalism and always stayed true to the proud traditions of the Israeli nation. From as young as nine years old, she has raised awareness of, and promoted the rights of underprivileged kids in STLV. To this day, her ideologist Jewish values and passionate beliefs shine through in all her media, social, and political contributions.

With increasing social distress and spiraling crime rates in South Tel Aviv, May Golan has focused the last few years fighting for the rights and safety of the local residents. In the 2013 elections, May Golan joined the "Otzma le Israel" party who strongly campaigned for the safety and security of the Israeli people wherever they may live.

Last year, May Golan started writing her much acclaimed weekly blog - "Life According to May" - about her daily life and experiences living in what she calls "the country of South Tel Aviv". May's blog provides a startling insight into the true fear and dark reality of a young woman's fight for daily survival in the lawlessness of South Tel Aviv. May's strength of character and firm Jewish beliefs, helps her fight for justice and the right of every citizen to feel secure enough to leave their house in safety and without fear! May's blog has captured the imagination of many, providing hope, inspiration and leadership to an otherwise lost cause ...

May has been campaigning for this serious issue to be covered by the mainstream leftist dominated media for years. Thanks to her perseverance, it has become a hot issue picked up by the political parties all the way to the Prime Ministers Office. May Golan and her genuine passion shines through in all of her media contributions,  not just to fight for the poor and downtrodden peoples of South Tel Aviv - but for all Jews that care to maintain and if necessary fight for the State of Israel to remain the established home of the Jewish people. ​

Recently May Golan has been active in a new non profit organization called "The Foundation to Save Israel" that campaigns on behalf of the Jewish nation, for Jewish causes.
